730RS: The Underground Force Redefining Independent Hip-Hop

Hitting the scene in the early 2010s, 730RS made his mark with his debut project, Unknown Hunger, hosted by NuJerzey Devil. Tracks from the project earned spots on DJ Green Lantern’s mixtape, as well as features from DJ N.O. (Coast2Coast DJs) and DJ Crystalz (Black Wall Street). Over the years, he’s collaborated and shared the stage with heavyweights like Sheek Louch, About Paper, Large Amount (D-Block), Cassidy, and more.

Recognized among NYC’s elite lyricists, 730RS is known for delivering raw, unfiltered rhymes over a variety of sounds—showcasing his undeniable versatility.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, music was always a part of his world. One pivotal moment came as he ascended the stairs of his apartment building, hearing the strumming of an alternative rock guitar. But what caught his ear was something different—lyrics weren’t being sung, they were being rapped. That moment shattered the idea of genres as rigid boxes, showing him that music could be whatever you imagined it to be. Inspired, he picked up a pen and started writing—he hasn't stopped since.

Brooklyn wasn’t an easy place to grow up, and his music reflects the realities of the streets, the struggles, and the lessons learned. As he watched and wrote, a deeper question emerged: “What is the purpose of all this?” That question set him on a path of discovery, a journey inward—because the real answers, he realized, start Within.
